How to survive TK
Before asking for help on a TK board, please consider whether Google is a good first step. If you have tried Google and can't find what you're looking for, feel free to ask for other resources or if anyone has a better idea of Google search phrases.

How to do the stuff you want to do
To make a bio
Go to STL Wed or Googlesites and create your bio. Personally, I prefer Google because updating is easier. Both are pretty easy to set up.
To link your bio in your siggy
Go to Tinyurl and make your bio URL tiny. Then put this code in your siggy, without the *'s

To add a picture to your siggy
Upload your picture to your favorite photo storage website. I recommend Photobucket. Get the direct link they provide for your picture and tinyurl it. Then put this code in your siggy without the *'s.

If your picture is really big go to stlwed and click on Signature help in the lefthand column. Put your tinyurl there and change the size of your picture, then paste the code they provide into your siggy.
To make a clickable link in a post
Make your link a tinyurl then put in this code, sans *'s. The link you get from tinyurl will automatically be bolded. You must re-type the URL before posting or it won't work.

(If you use Firefox, hit the spacebar like five times after the end of your code to make it work properly.)
To PIP (picture in post)
Do the photobucket and tinyurl steps to put your picture in your siggy. Once you have your tinyurl put this code in your post (same deal with the bold as for a clickable link...you must re-type your tinyurl)
